EBL honoured as a leading income tax payer

Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) has been honoured for its significant contribution in achieving the target (Tk 240 billion) for 2020-2021, set for the Large Taxpayer Unit (LTU).

Fazle Kabir, Governor, Bangladesh Bank handed over a crest of recognition to Ali Reza Iftekhar, Managing Director and CEO, Eastern Bank Ltd (EBL) at a function held on Tuesday, according to a media release received today (Wednesday).

Senior Secretary, Internal Resources Division and Chairman, National Board of Revenue (NBR) Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem was also present at the event.
