DIG Habibur Rahman promoted to additional IGP

The government promoted Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police (Dhaka Range) Habibur Rahman to the rank of additional Inspector General of Police (IGP) Monday.
Also, he has been posted to Tourist Police, reports UNB.
Today, the Public Security Division of the home ministry issued a notification signed by Deputy Secretary (Police-1) Dhananjoy Kumar Das.
The order will be effective immediately, the notification said.
