Friday, 8 September 2017

Denmark has announced to provide $US 3.2 million to support the Rohingya refugees coming to Bangladesh fleeing persecution in Myanmar, reports UNB.

Danish Ambassador to Bangladesh Mikael Hemniti Winther tweeted on Friday announcing the aid.

According to a UNHCR report, an estimated 270,000 Rohingya refugees entered Bangladesh in the last two weeks following the fresh attacks on Rohingya Muslims by the Myanmar army in Rakhine State.
