Consumer stocks pull down NZ shares

Consumer staples and healthcare stocks pulled down New Zealand shares on Wednesday.
New Zealand shares clocked their biggest intraday loss in a week.
The benchmark S&P/NZX 50 index fell 0.5 per cent or 44 points to 8,235.85, according to Reuters.
a2 Milk Company Ltd dropped 3.1 per cent to a one-month low, while Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Corp shed about 2.0 per cent.
