Columnist Mohammad Badrul Ahsan passes away

Mohammad Badrul Ahsan, known as a popular columnist for The Daily Star and former publisher and editor of now defunct First News, has died at the age of 60.
Ahsan breathed his last at around 1:00am on Thursday in Dhaka's Uttara, said a media statement.
His Namaz-e-Janaza will be held at Gulshan Azad Mosque in the capital after Zuhr prayers today.
