Coast guard arrests one with gold bars in Teknaf

Members of Coast Guard arrested a suspected smuggler along with four gold bars from Baroitoli area in Teknaf upazila at Cox’s Bazar early Thursday.
Lt Commander B N Abdullah Al Maruf of Coast Guard, said on information, a team conducted a drive around 1am and arrested Md Abdullah, 28, from the area along with the gold bars weighing 660gram.
The seized gold bars were handed over to Teknaf Police, according to UNB.
