City gas cylinder blast: another dies at DMCH

A woman who was undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) after sustaining burn injuries in a gas cylinder blast, died on Monday morning.

Fatema Begum, 35, is the second victim of the explosion.

DMCH police camp in-charge Inspector Bachchu Mia said Fatema succumbed to her injuries at around 6:30 am.

Earlier on Saturday night, Fatema and her three children sustained burn injuries in a gas cylinder blast at their Kadamtali house in the capital, according to a UNB report.

Among the injured, her son Safawan, 5, died at the same hospital on Sunday night.

The others victims - Fatema's son Rafi, 11, and daughter Faria, 9, are undergoing treatment at the hospital.
