Car registrations in Dhaka fall in 2018

Car registrations in Dhaka city witnessed a significant decline in 2018 compared to those of 2017.
A total of 16,319 cars were registered in 2018 while it was 19,573 in the year before, according to statistics provided by Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA).
With the latest, a total of 277,141 cars had been registered with the BRTA in the capital until 2018, it said.
