BRTA registers 19,209 auto-rickshaws this year

Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) has registered 19,209 auto-rickshaws in the first seven months of the current calendar year across the country.
Of them, 6,619 got registration during January-July 2019 in Dhaka, according to the transport regulator.
A total of 21,638 auto-rickshaws were registered alone in 2018 while it was 9,168 in 2017, the BRTA data showed.
