Bourses revise trading hours

Dhaka Stock Exchange and the Chittagong Stock Exchange have revised the trading hours as banking hours changed due to rising cases of Covid-19 infections and deaths in the country.
As per new timing, trading will take place from 10:00am to 1:00pm, instead of 10:30am to 1:30pm, effective from today (Thursday), officials said.
“The new trading time will be continued until further notice,” said a DSE official.
Earlier, bourses cut one hour trading time to three hours, from usual four hours due to Covid-19 outbreak.
