BGB recovers eight smuggled air gunes in Jashore

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered eight air guns smuggled from India at Daulatpur in Chowgachha upazila of Jashore on Sunday morning.
Being tipped off, a team of BGB conducted a drive near Daulatpur Government Primary School in the morning and recovered the air guns in an abandoned condition, said Lt Col Mohammad Ariful Haque, commanding officer of BGB-49 battalion.
The air-guns were handed over to Chowgachha Police Station and a case was filed in this connection, UNB reported quoting the official.
