Bangladesh reports 1,683 new Covid cases, 25 deaths

Bangladesh has reported 1,683 Covid-19 cases and 25 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours to 8 am.
With these, total deaths and cases now stand at 6,092 and 421,921 respectively, said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in a press release on Monday.
A total of 1,623 Covid-19 patients also recovered during the last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 339,768, it said.
According to the DGHS release, a total of 14,042 samples were tested at the country’s 115 authorised labs during the same period, bringing the total number of samples tested to over 2.4 million so far.
