Shooter Abdullah Hel Baki has won Bangladesh its first medal at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games 2018 by taking silver in the 10m Air Rifle final.

Baki finished with a score of 244.7 in the tense final at the Belmont Shooting Complex in Brisbane on Sunday, according to a UNB report.

Australian shooter Dane Sampson finished with the gold medal with a score of 245.0 while Ravi Kumar of India shot 224.1 to go on to win bronze.
