ASI’s wife found dead in city

Law enforcers recovered the body of a police officer's wife from Bhatara area in Dhaka city in the early hours of Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Mina Akhter, 25, wife of Sohel Rana, assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of Bhatara Police Station.
Al-Imam Rajon, sub-inspector of Bhatara Police Station, said that Sohel Rana and his wife Mina used to live in a rented house in Solmaid area.
Being informed by Sohel Rana that Mina had committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan following a scuffle with her husband, a team of police went to the house and found her body lying on the bed at around 3:00am, reports UNB quoting the SI.
The dead body has injury marks all over it, particularly on its neck, which was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.
