500 more students to get access to medical colleges

The government has decided to increase the number of students by 500 to 3,818 for admission to state-run medical colleges from the 2018-19 session.
The health ministry took the decision in a meeting on Wednesday to increase the number students in medical colleges for the first time in about a decade.
According to bdnews24.com, at present, 31 public medical colleges have 3,318 seats for admission.
