4,285 trucks get registration in five months

Truck registration across the country stood at 4,285 in the first five months of the current calendar year, according to official data.

Of them, some 3,199 trucks are based in Dhaka, showed the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA).

The transport regulator data also revealed that a total of 12,663 trucks were registered in 2018 across the country while the number was 10,353 in 2017.
