18 Shibir men held in Chattogram

Police arrested 18 leaders and activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir from a madrasah at Chandanpura under Chawkbazar thana in Chittagong district on Sunday night on charges of sabotage.
Acting on secret information that a group of Shibir men was holding a meeting, a team of police raided Darul Ulum Madrasah and arrested them at around 11:30 pm, said Abul Kalam, officer-in-charge of Chawkbazar Police Station, according to UNB news agency.
