101 injured in religious violence in 2019

At least 101 people were injured in violence against religion related violence in 2019 across the country, according to a report of a local independent rights body.

Among the injured, some 50 people belong to Ahmadiyya (a sect of Islam) and 51 Hindus, according to a data of Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK).

Apart from this, 72 temples/monasteries or statues were attacked and 53 houses of the religious minorities were attacked, the ASK data showed.
