Magnitude 6.3 quake jolts southwest of Tonga

An earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale, struck in the Pacific Ocean on Monday, 427 km southwest of the island of Tonga, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.
There were no immediate reports of any casualties or damage and the Pacific Tsunami warning Centre did not issue a tsunami warning, reports Reuters citing USGS.
